My checkout starts with approximately 2-3 sessions in the simulator, where we learn the basic functions of the system, navigation procedures, autopilot use, and we run through various emergency equipment malfunctions and procedures. If you are already instrument rated, we will also review instrument approach procedures, holds, and enroute navigation.
