Flying
out of high elevation airports and in the mountains requires greater
knowledge, preparation, and precision than flying out of low elevation
fields. Our club requires a moutain checkout for pilots planning to fly
over terrain greater than 6000ft in elevation or operate out of
airports greater than 2000ft elevation.
