Air Tours Terms & Conditions 

  • A reservation is required. A non-refundable $19.95 booking fee applies for all reservations.

  • All tours are subject to availability.

  • Your safety or experience will not be compromised; we apologize in advance if we need to reschedule your flight due to bad weather or mechanical concerns. FlyBayArea reserves the right to reschedule the flight to a different date.

  • We reserve the right to change the route of the flight or reschedule for bad weather. Unobstructed views of major landmarks are not guaranteed as fog and low clouds are prevalent throughout the Bay Area at different times of the year.

  • Flight time is an estimate of that required to fly the desired route and may vary depending on weather conditions and air traffic control requirements, and includes engine start, taxi, run-up, takeoff, and landing.

  • Tours can be rescheduled if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation time by sending an email to customerservice@flybayarea.com.

  • Tours, flight lessons, and gift certificates are non-refundable. If you wish to purchase a refundable ticket, want the option to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, or are only available on a specific date, you may purchase Flight Cancellation Insurance ($125.00) at the time of booking which allows you to cancel for a full refund (minus cost of booking fee and trip insurance fee) up to the date and time of your scheduled departure. No refunds for no show or cancellations made after the date and time of departure.

  • If you don’t show up for your scheduled flight time or are more than 30 minutes late, the flight will be marked as completed and charged in full.

  • If you have purchased a SkyTour from a third party, please contact the vendor directly to inquire about a refund.

  • FlyBayArea is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged gift certificates or vouchers, or any unauthorized gift certificate use, and will not replace lost, stolen or damaged gift certificates.

  • There is a maximum weight of 250lbs per passenger and a total combined weight of 500lbs for all passengers, excluding tour pilot, for all flights in our four-seat aircraft.

  • Children must be at least 8 years of age or older or at least 4 feet 9 inches tall or taller. Due to limited space we are not able to use child seats in the airplane.

  • Passengers under the age of 12 must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Passengers 13 - 17 years old may ride without a parent or guardian. Parent or guardian must be present to sign waiver for any passenger under the age of 18.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Reasons for refusal of service may be intoxication or you may otherwise be determined to be unfit for flight. In those cases you will not be allowed to board the aircraft.

  • Passengers may be subject to safety search prior to boarding the flight.

  • Passengers must sign a re lease of liability waivers prior to flight.
